Exhibition: Dulwich Festival Artists' Open House

When the music trustees for Jazz Live at the Crypt suggested I could exhibit in the venue I realised it was an opportunity to show paintings from the last 10 years, which is the period of time that I’ve been showing with Dulwich Festival Artists’ Open House, something I cannot do from my current home in the area.
During this time my intention has been to incorporate meaning in the work that will engage with the viewer and provide a point of departure for discussion. I have experimented with subject matter, technique, composition, the use of symbols and their impact on the subconscious. The result is a varied body of work that is both distinctive and unique, and this year my show at the Crypt was an overview of one painter’s journey through the last decade.
